Liked: Lovely traditional hotel with lots of little touches to make life comfortable. Very friendly staff and good quiet location.
Disliked: Please note that the hotel is not staffed until 3.30pm, so if you arrive early you won’t be able to book in.

Comfortable & welcoming stay in...

Liked: Very comfortable. Rooms were well appointed, clean, warm and cosy. Peaceful and quiet property off the road. Mary could not have been more helpful, what a great host. Breakfast was leisurely with plenty of choice, freshly cooked and well presented.
Disliked: Property needs better signage for parking. Arriving from the left, the sharp left turn into the parking area is difficult to negotiate on a busy road.

Enjoyed staying at Sutherland House

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. There was plenty of hot water and although the shower lacked power, it was sufficient.. Breakfast was very nice with unlimited coffee. The off-road parking was a great plus point. Mary was very courteous and helpful.
Disliked: The water flow on the shower could have been greater.
