The carts rolling across slotted concrete scared me and my boyfriend awake in the night and mornings. If you like to sleep in, I don't recommend this hotel. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. It's close to a lot of venues and food.

Great location; friendly staff; clean room; great value; nice and quiet; a very enjoyable experience all around. When in Tempe we will definitely be staying here again.

Disliked: Got in a room that wasn’t cleaned. The sheets, pillow cases clearly have been slept on & visible dirt-hairs in the sheets..but the nice gentleman in the front desk came up to bring fresh linens.. then offered to move us to another room—it was an upgrade room— didn’t really mattered if it was an upgraded room— we just wanted a clean/fresh room to sleep on for the night.. it was really late night 11sh; me, the senior & toddler were exhausted. Once we moved to another room— can really tell that room was made— clean, sheets were nicely made & clean. Thanks to the gentleman, who moved us. Glad there’s available room!

Liked: Location is perfect, quick drive to the highway and tons of things to do in the area
Disliked: Only thing i could recommend is getting newer beds and pillows. Bed was extremely hard and pillows were quite the opposite, were floppy. Just that, everything else was nice.

Fine, not great

Liked: Our individual room was clean. The shower was pleasant. The breakfast foods were hot and the volume of food was enough. On one day, we asked for 2 items that appeared to be out of stock but the staff had them in the back and let us have them.
Disliked: We didn't get breakfast our first morning because their shipment hadn't arrived so food was very limited. We could look past one issue.... then we started to notice bags of garbage that sat in the outside walkways all weekend. Our room smelled musty and faintly of urine anytime we stopped the air conditioner or fan. The window has shutters instead of curtains but they do not block out light. Even at night, light filtered in, it looked like daytime through the window because there was a hallway light above every window.

Disliked: 3 people registered, but only towels for 2 persons. I contacted reception 3 times over 2 days and did not receive replacements despite assurance we would. 2 TVs in separate rooms, but only 1 remote control. No second RC provided, despite assurance 3 times that we would get one. I felt unimportant to the front desk.
