SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Plano, Plano

Liked: Nice hotel.

We checked in and later...

Liked: Nothing, the staff at the desk was really nice and tried to help us. Plus $50.00 was taken out on my CC, it has NOT been refunded as promised by the front desk.
Disliked: Families are living in about 6 or 7 rooms, so odd individuals were roaming the halls.

Disliked: Pull out couch bed had dirty linens and the hallway smelled of marijuana. Was told we could only have one blanket because they had run out but later in the evening saw another guest get blankets.

Disliked: Been coming for over a decade but this will be my last stay. No longer daily maid service...it's on request. Very tired facilities. Carpet in the room felt really dirty to the extent that I wore shoes and avoided stepping onto it with bare feet.Guests smoked around the pool...very unpleasant.Never been to a hotel breakfast where people were in their pyjamas with curlers in their hair. Felt unsafe around some other guests. No one at reception when I needed to check out at 7.20am.Never again...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Although it looked clean enough, bugs started to show up. Weather stripping on door does not even touch the floor and let's lots of noise and bugs in. It like having the door open all the time.

This place is junk and...

Liked: Nothing. I just left in the middle because of the worst condition of the room and also the rude behavior of the staffs. That too from the manager in charge of this place!
Disliked: I just keep remembering all the bad things happened to me last night at this property. This is a dungeon and smells crap. A place that doesn’t understand what a customer service is, and not even a 0.1% of it. I booked for a stay for two nights and left in the middle of it and now battling for my money. I travelled with my family (2 kids). The front desk lady ( who later found out to be the manager of the property) has the provoking ability! If you go to her with concerns, she wouldn’t even identify her as the manager and tells us that she is unable to reach the manager. This has happened to us, so watch out. If we raise the issues to her, she try to turn the cards against us. I just moved out in the middle of the stay because of my kid’s health condition and did not want to continue the stay so he picks up something worse! Below are our concerns!1. Bugs in room had bitten my kid and his eye lids were swollen 2. Hall way and room smells terrible3. Room is very dirty and dust flying around4. Worn out carpet5. Torn drapes6. Stained window curtains and lamps7. They do not provide basic amenities like blanket, comforter and pillow and ask why we are a group of four, though the room allowed the booking for 4. 8. Sofa bed was terrible and definitely from a decade old because of the needles spiking.9. Fridge cabinets were rusty and am just noticing frosted as well10. Main door locks not functioning11. Bathroom door not shutting offI am not writing to stop people going to this property. Go and take a look at the property first before paying for it. I fell for this hotels rating and wondering if they are real. The whole walkway was stinking same as the room. But many people have raised the concerns that I have put in above. I am now dealing with them for the refunds. If I don’t get it next step is to escalate the issue to senior management personals!I have taken lot of videos and this app doesn’t let me upload it.
