Exceptional

Liked: Clean. Rooms are big. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Good variety. Just add some apple juice.
Disliked: Would love some carpet in the room. The beds are on wheels and they move too much. That's really the only thing I dislike about this location.

Liked: Beautiful. The fireplace was stunning. Nice pool and hot tub. Restaurant was cute there is a bar and pool table. Food was reasonably priced.

Disliked: The beds are very uncomfortable The rooms are quite small Too much large furniture for such a small space.

We expected more from this...

Liked: Not so great the fruit was edible. We forgoed the rest and went to a local restaurant.
Disliked: The bed seemed like it could have been 20 years old.

Very friendly and caring staff....

Liked: I really was at the hotel a very short time. I arrived late at night and left the next morning before 5:10 AM, I forgot my hearing aids in the room. Housekeeping staff found them before I even noticed I left them and the hotel had contacted me about how to return them. Arrangements were made for my hearing aids to be mailed to me and they were within 24 hours. I am very grateful!

It was an unexpected, pleasant...

Liked: The pool and hot tub were very clean and nice. I was spoiled because I had them to myself. The pool was warmer than most hotel pools. The bar on site with some bar food was great for my needs. The french fries in the air fryer were some of the best I've had. The bartender was awesome. Very friendly. The breakfast served my purposes. It had scrambled eggs that tasted good. It also had waffles, diced potatoes, breakfast sausage, and cereal for folks that like that. There wasn't a lot of options for pastries, bagels, muffins, or fruit, but I understand this is a slow season for them and so this type of food would probably have a lot of waste.The refrigerator and microwave in the room was great. It was extremely close to where I had to go for a meeting the next day. It was also convenient for other food besides the bar. There was a Perkins, Taco Johns, and Subway (in the gas station) across the parking lot.
Disliked: The room was smaller than I'm use to in my work travels, but I actually became accustomed to it. If I had been with another person, it may have been a little tight--but I don't pack lightly! I think the double queen rooms were bigger. The only real issue I had was that the toilet kept running all night and by the time I realized it since I wasn't in the room until later, I had already gotten in bed and didn't want to switch rooms. I never called maintenance or the front desk and forgot to mention it to them when I checked out. So that's on me. I just shut the bathroom door and turned the fan on high in the room. That blocked it out.
