We rented three rooms for the family. We had an enjoyable trip to the Kentucky Railway Museum and enjoyed our stay at The General Nelson Inn. Very nice rooms and a good restaurant located nearby. We would return again and again and will let others know of our experience.

Will Not Regret It

Liked: For the daily rate paid this place is excep. The room had all the amenities and was clean with good lighting. We even had a comfy recliner. The included breakfast was very good for the night rate. The motel is located just 6 blocks from the city center.
Disliked: Normally we prefer hotel to motel but this motel was great.

Disliked: Not many guests, as it’s not a peak season, but roomed close to others. It would have been nice to space out guest rooms. You can hear thru the walls easily.
