We rented three rooms for the family. We had an enjoyable trip to the Kentucky Railway Museum and enjoyed our stay at The General Nelson Inn. Very nice rooms and a good restaurant located nearby. We would return again and again and will let others know of our experience.

Liked: Everything was nice and clean. Beds very comfy.
Disliked: Check out time was at 11am. Cleaning people came straight into our room at 10am with out knocking or announcing themselves. When I informed the front desk all I got was I'm sorry. That was out first time staying there and wasn't to happy with that.

Will Not Regret It

Liked: For the daily rate paid this place is excep. The room had all the amenities and was clean with good lighting. We even had a comfy recliner. The included breakfast was very good for the night rate. The motel is located just 6 blocks from the city center.
Disliked: Normally we prefer hotel to motel but this motel was great.
