Liked: The location was good and there was availability.
Disliked: For almost $200 for a night (this included $40 each for two small dogs), I was expecting a lot more.We found dirty socks in one of the bed’s blankets which is disgusting. There was no hair dryer and the bathroom was small, with a loud fan and wasn’t very clean around the toilet. The beds made loud sounds when you moved because they are on metal springs and the coffee maker in the room did not work. When I checked in around 5:30pm, there was nobody in the office and it was locked so I had to push the night bell about 4 times at intervals before a young man came out in his socks to help. He was polite, albeit not focused, asking the same questions multiple times. We left around 4:30am (we were staying the night because my house had a plumbing issue and we couldn’t use the water - which made the lack of a hair dryer more annoying than it might have been, as well as the poor water pressure and two towels, though there were three of us), and when I pushed the night bell, a different man came out to help but just kind of stared at me. When I gave him the socks and told him we found them in a bed he said “that’s okay”, to which I responded it absolutely is not okay. He just stared at me and I asked what more I needed to do to check out and he just said “cash or card?” A few times and told me the security deposit gets returned in a couple days. All in all, it’s a lot of money to spend for an establishment with a similar feel of a motel 6.

Liked: Our 1st room flooded in the shower. We were then moved to another room which the space was harder to maneuver since we asked for a handicap room and the second room was not convenient for the wheelchair

Great choice in town.

Liked: Terrific location, walkable to everything and right across the street from Amtrak. Fridge and microwave. Clean, safe, quiet, comfortable — nothing fancy, but good value.
Disliked: Doesn’t seem to be set up for recycling, and could have used some more hangers for clothes.

Liked: NOTHING!!!!
Disliked: There was nothing to like! I booked this hotel in April or May for a concert at the Fresno Fair Grounds that wasn't till the 15th of October, for myself and my best friend. So, we get to the hotel and tried to check in, the twit at the front desk couldn't find my reservation. Evidently because of a name change their computer system didn't recognize my booking. Then the front desk twit wanted a $100 cash deposit for cleaning that I would get back when we checked out! Yeah, right that wasn't gonna happen! I knew something sketchy was going on when he wouldn't use my credit card for the so-called cleaning deposit. Not that I would have paid that. He kept saying he was sorry and trying to explain and I told him that it wasn't my problem it was a you problem and I would be posting a horrible review. Do Not book this hotel at all they are trying to scam people for cash.

Liked: Did not eat breakfast it was dirty when I went to check in.
Disliked: The staff was unprofessional and were walking around barefoot. A homeless lady came up to the window asking for medical help and they were freaking out instead of quickly calling 911 and we waited so long to check in while 911 came and one staff member raised his voice at his other staff for not calling 911 fast enough when he could have called too. The hotel needs security to not let so many homeless in

Liked: We stayed in this hotel since we had an event at Fresno convention center which was a walking distance. It was really convenient to us.
Disliked: The breakfast is not as good as the other Best Western. It cannot be categorized as "good breakfast". It is a standard continental breakfast.
