Great for the price

Liked: I loved the location and the staff who were understandable as I had to check in almost at 10 pm. due to heavy traffic.
Disliked: I did try calling a few times before heading down to confirm our stay and to mention that we were probably going to be checking in later due to unforseen circumstances, and no one would pick up the phone.

The staff is wonderful and...

Liked: The outside property was nice.
Disliked: The inside needs to be cleaner. The vent and floor boards were filthy with dust. Our room was over crowded, probably shout be 1 King bed and not 2 queens. You could only get out of one bed by crawling in and out of bed to get out of it. They could also use some new pillows. But the bed we clean and comfortable. It would be nice to have more for breakfast other than toast, some pastries, coffee, tea etc.

Liked: We visited a concert in Pioneertown, so the hotel was perfectly located, with shops and stores nearby. The staff was very friendly and gave a welcoming vibe. The room was super clean. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was basic, with lots of coffee :)
Disliked: The pool was unfortunately so cold, that it was - at least for us - not usable. But very clean, with two beach chairs.

Liked: Motel is older and somewhat small but freshly remodeled, well maintained and very clean. Great value. Close to Joshua Tree National Park. Walking distance from dining and groceries.
Disliked: Rooms were small but fine for our purposes

Disliked: Parking lot didn't feel secure and the hallways were dingy.
