Liked: The lady who checked us in was very friendly, but let us know they were unable to accommodate us with the disability accessible room we booked and that her boss had suggested another room for us. The room we were given was still clean & accommodating, but did not have handicap parking.There appeared to be mostly people who were working out of town staying here as well as a few fishermen, and it was fairly quiet for the most part. We did encounter a roach and a large dung beetle in the room, but I used to do pest control and did not make a complaint. We had to call the front office and report someone smoking drugs outside our room because the fumes were coming into our room and became unbearable. We advised that we wasn't sure who it was, but the hotel staff advised they were already aware of who it was, and afterward, we continued to smell the fumes throughout the weekend, but they were slightly fainter as if the were coming from inside someones room. As I was leaving, I learned the manager will not give you a receipt with an amount on it other than $0.00 if you if you book through booking.com. So, just a heads up, hang onto your online receipt from your booking if you stay here. It was also about a 10-15 drive to get to some of the more popular stores in Victoria and the map feature in booking.com will route you to the wrong location if you try to use it to direct you to the motel. Also, the air conditioning worked very well in our room, and we had a roomier refrigerator than you normally see at most motels, but we did not double check the temperature setting and our stuff froze in the refrigerator portion.

Liked: Breakfast was okay. No crowds which was good.
Disliked: Put something out for diabetics. Everything available had sugar in it. Nothing sugar free.

Liked: The owners (husband and wife) were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: No complaints.

Liked: It was quite clean in bedroom. And good cooling on hot day
Disliked: Breakfast room seemed a little low space but was sweet of them to offer

Check the Place B4 Going

Liked: I appreciated that the room was pretty clean.
Disliked: The hotel had an exceptional rating. As we drove there, we realized it was located in a bad part of town, which did not feel safe. The outside of the hotel was very run down and definitely did not match the picture.
