Poor Communication & Checkout Procedure

Liked: The location was convenient & price was reasonable.
Disliked: Housekeeping knocked on the door for 5 min at 8:00 am, while we were sleeping, to see if we were in the room. When we voiced our concern upon checkout, we were told that we should have used the "do not disturb" door hanger. Poor system for checkout. They shouldn't allow you to just leave without confirming if it's going to result in housekeeping disturbing folks early in the morning. Checkout was 11:00 & they woke us 3 hrs ahead of time. The room also has a peeling ceiling & shower faucet was pulling out of the wall.

Liked: The location was good, and the size of the room was good.
Disliked: The toilet ran every 5 minutes or so and was very loud when it did, along with the heat/ac unit was extremely loud, so bad I had to turn it off at night or else I was not able to sleep, then it got cold in the room. I would be very surprised I am the first to comment on it.

Liked: Room was very nice. The breakfast was well stocked and food was good. Staff was friendly
Disliked: Toilet had a slight draining issue which was loud. We advised them of this and they will handle it for the future

I’d say Good.

Liked: The employees were wonderful and kind. They made me feel welcomed and answered every question I had without rushing me. This Super 8 had a simple but satisfying breakfast. There was an ice machine that had great tasting ice. The refrigerator in the room held a lot but we needed ice for our water bottles. The parking lot was lit up and the neighborhood felt safe. I didn’t worry about walking from my car in the late hours. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
Disliked: The bed sheets had a lot of stains but they were clean. The comforter had burn holes in a non smoking room. The bathroom had hair on the floor and dirt from wet boots outside the door. But, the toilet was clean. It felt like a rushed job. I did like that they had laminated floors instead of carpet. This is a pet friendly hotel and it DID NOT smell like it.
