Disliked: The roaches

Never to return.

Liked: It was kind of close to the beach.
Disliked: Upon arriving there were so many people unsure if they were customers or not just littered around the entire property. Then, I was greeted by an assistant manager telling a customer that he can’t provide her with a suitable room because hers was filthy. I walk into our room and it was okay at best. It seemed like it was cleaned at a bare minimum. There were stains on the bedding. And a sticky film on every surface. There looked to be a boot print on the ceiling and the microwave was disgusting. Our keys kept having to be registered to our room. The pool had to have someone come and let us in if we wanted to use it. I went to get some juice from the “continental breakfast” that was advertised and the desk clerk was literally sleeping and I couldn’t get her to wake up. I tried asking staff for towels and nobody could understand what I was saying and said I had to wait until 10 but the entire stay nobody came in and cleaned the room or provided us with new towels. Then the first time going to shower there was a cockroach the size of a toy cockroach in the shower curtain and then we found at least two more one crawling across the floor and another on a drink. It was disgusting to say the least.

Disliked: The toilet didn't work, The shower wouldn't turn off and the plug in the bath was in pieces. The curtains were moldy and there were holes in the floor.We were knocked awake by housekeeping at 8.30am despite check out not being until 11am and then had 3 more visits until we finally gave up and left. We had travelled from overseas & were tired and would have like to have had a lie in. The included breakfast was a cup of OJ and a cereal bar. Total rip off

Liked: The only good thing about this hotel is the Amazing Staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the maintenance they were absolutely awesome and the only good experience. with the exception of who I believe may have been the owner or some type of management. I didnt have enough towels for the 4 ppl on my reservation just two sets. I had to go to the laundry rm myself to ask for the 2 more I needed and he absolutely refused and was as nasty as he could be about it. To the rest of the staff my hat goes off to you all, most guest were here due to having to evacuate from the hurricanes and you all were here to take care of the guests when you should have been taking care of your own families and homes. I hope all is well with yous guys.
Disliked: The breakfast at this location is such a joke!! When Covid hit I understood the simple coffee and nutrigrain bar, However we are way passed that and the continental breakfast should be brought back. My room was filled with dead and live roaches!!! I mean everywhere, like at least 10 dead just lying on top of A/c in plain sight, 1st thing I saw when going into rm. Housekeeping staff should have seen as well. I couldn't ask for another rm because hotel was sold I out due to hurricane and this was the reason for my stay as well, so I just had to deal with it. Bathroom was hot no ventilation and could smell someone smoking like from next door. Gross smell when showering, just saying. However someone smoking in there rm is hard for staff to take care of until after check out. My reservation was also for four ppl and we were only given towels for 2 ppl. I had to go to the Laundry rm myself and ask for more, the gentleman who I believe was maybe the owner or some type of management was extremely rude and I mean rude. He would not give me the extra two sets of towels that I needed. Besides the very rude man and the roaches the rest of the hotel staff were absolutely amazing they really were from the front desk staff to maintenance staff to housekeeping they were all very nice except that one nasty rude man. I really hope he is not the owner if he is, there is no help for the hotel. I just hope he doesn't treat the staff the way he treats the guests.

Liked: I want to mention, Ken, The front desk attendant. I had made a reservation through some hotel site and when I arrived, you were all booked. Mr. Ken sent me up on a table with a chair so that I could keep trying to find a hotel after an hour and a half, Mr. Ken came up with, a cancellation. He wanted me to feel secure so he put me in a room that was right across from the lobby. I thought that was a wonderful gesture on his part and he should be rewarded for that. He’s looking out for this customers. Then when I was checking out, Linda, so adorable and so sweet to me. She knew I was a hurricane victim and was very sympathetic. She too, was announced standing and professional agent on the front desk. Thank you super eight for taking such good care of me.
