Dog friendly hotel was necessity...
Liked: It allowed dogs, which was a necessity for us, and the fee was only $15/dog. It was also in the woods, so the dogs had somewhere to use the bathroom and be walked that wasn't just a parking lot.
Disliked: The property was in really rough shape. The pool and hot tub were basically not usable because it closed at 7pm (I think because there is no light in the pool room...?) and the entire area was very dirty. It bordered on unsafe, with huge paint chips all over the ground that were sharp. Our room smelled like urine; the shower was not clean; there were not enough blankets (just a sheet and really thing blanket, no comforter) so were were all freezing all night. We were fed up with the place by morning so we got breakfast in town (great place for breakfast is Bertie's Outlaw Cafe!) but on the way out I looked over what they offered for breakfast and it looked terrible (maybe even left out from the night before??).

Enjoyed a quiet, restful safe...
Liked: Quiet, clean, lovely view of forest rather than retail buildings, great waffle breakfast, pillows not oversized like I have had on 2 prior hotels.
Disliked: No complaints.
