Good, basic , clean

Liked: Clean, soft towels, nice staff, decent breakfast, about what you'd expect from good budget hotel. Willing to give us a small discount off room price for not honoring our reservation.
Disliked: We got bumped out of a reserved two queen room to a king with sofa bed so one of our party had to sleep on that. Facility said they must have overbooked.

Salmon on a Smokey Weekend

Liked: Your staff was welcoming and kind. I was assigned a handicapped room which offered the assistance I needed. The location was great - beside the river and the center of town.
Disliked: The site has some disadvantages for the disabled, including the building being uphill from the parking area. The entrance is rather narrow and has quite a drop-off that endangers any vehicles trying to swing wide to avoid incoming pick-ups. For guests attempting to push a full luggage cart up from the front parking to the main door there is also quite a bump to get over right at the door. Not enough staff was on hand to offer any help with these difficulties, either. My title is because a forest fire was raging at the top of the mountain to the west of town. Hopefully that dramatic view isn't something that will be seen ever again.
