Liked: The only really good thing about this property m, was the gentleman who checked us in on Friday night. He was the friendliest and most efficient hotel worker I have probably ever met. The bed was ok, nothing to write home about…but decent enough. It was fine for just the two of us to basically only sleep there on our weekend trip in to see family. But not a place I’d have let my infant stay with us at if he weren’t with family.
Disliked: The overall feel of the hotel, is outdated. Which we expected, based on other reviews. It smells like cigarette smoke (even in non smoking rooms). Our sheets had cigarette holes in them. Housekeeping came in on first day, changed out the towels and left a roll of TP on back of toilet. But left any trash in the room. The bathtub was filthy. the handle Of the shower temp is backwards. There were 2 small lamps in the entire room, just made it feel dark and sketchy. Breakfast the first morning was biscuits and gravy, with choice of 2 pastries and powdered donuts. The second morning it was the same previous days container of biscuits, and powdered donuts that were barely thawed and felt wet. Thats it. The parking lot didn’t feel safe. It’s barely lit out front.
