Liked: Rating: 0/10This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Super 8 by Wyndham in Plano, TX, charged me an additional $15 per night simply because I booked through a third party—something multiple guests were also complaining about. This predatory and likely illegal practice forces customers to pay for the commission the hotel supposedly "loses" on third-party bookings.The property is in terrible condition. Despite claiming to be a non-smoking establishment, the entire place reeks of marijuana and cigarette smoke—including the rooms. There are cigarette butts littered at the entrance, and the smell is overwhelming. When I brought it up to the front desk, I was handed a dirty room spray bottle—which had chewed gum stuck to it! Completely unsanitary and disgusting. The toilets are kiddie toilets they're ridiculously low. To make matters worse, it appears that the owner’s family is living at the hotel, and the place is overrun with drug users walking around, making the environment feel unsafe.I am demanding a full refund—if not, I will be escalating this matter to the proper authorities for investigation. This place is a scam, unsafe, and should be avoided at all costs.

Liked: When I arrived, i was informed that there was a 15.00 per day service fee for using 3rd party, and in addition, a 50.00 deposit. My reservation could not be canceled because I already paid for it, so i could not cancel without fee.I don't like surprise fees or hidden fees and forced to pay them. I will not make another reservation to super 8.
