Disliked: The pillows where flat as can be. There was only 3 pillows on the king size bed but you needed 2 pillows for your head.

Disliked: The room was filthy. The A/C was blowing out dust and I had to clean it. The bathroom was not clean. There was dirt on the baseboards and hair on the floor around the tub. The shower-head was caked with grit, grime, hard water, rust and lime. Could. It sleep. I was told there were no other rooms to move me into but the manager in the more said there was. The front desk clerk checked me into a room that wasn’t mine and check someone else into a room I had reserved. I’m guessing they saw how unclean that room was and asked to switch and they gave them mine since my check in time was 10 pm. When asked what I wanted them to do for the trouble I asked for my room to be highly discounted. They said they couldn’t because I had prepaid. To top it off, they had me sign the paperwork for someone else’s room. I was tired and not paying close attention

Do Better Super *8 by...
Liked: We have stayed here on previous occasions it is conveniently located near everything we come to the Odessa/Midland area to do. Very quiet and comfortable.
Disliked: Considering our check-in time was 3pm, there were issues with Super 8 from the beginning. Examples:1) Elevator out of order paper sign on door. Pointed in the direction of the stairs (we are on the 2nd floor).2) Exterior room door key card did not work and the indicator light did not work either. Had to make 2 trips downstairs and on the second trip it was determined the batteries in the door lock needed replacement.)3) Key card to interior bedroom did not work. Had to get another one.4) Toilet would not flush properly; chain to the toilet tank flapper was disconnected we fixed that ourselves.5) Light in bathroom was burned out and needed to be replaced. 6) Breakfast was biscuits and gravy and eggs....other light breakfast items to be sure but there was no spray for the waffle iron. You need that if you want your waffle to come out in one piece.;.I personally feel that we should have been informed of the elevator issue. My wife and I are in our 60s and our son has had a serious medical issue which he has recovered from but a flight of stairs is a bit of a challenge. The problems with door keys would have been discovered prior to our arrival and we shouldn't have had to make trips downstairs to get the issue rectified .They did not offer to move us to another room either.
