Disliked: Amount: $725.88 Date: 10/20/2024 Below is a timeline of actions we took when cancelling this reservation at the front desk of the hotel after one night’s stay. As with any reservation, we believed ONLY the first night of staying there would be charged, even though my daughter’s experience (stated below) was horrific. The guy at the front desk said we needed to contact Booking.com for our refund. NO ONE pays $725 for 1 night’s stay, especially at this type of hotel. Had we known that the experience was going to be what it was, we never would have booked with them. Still, now one pays for days they did not stay at a hotel, except for the NORMAL first night that a hotel holds that room for them. They did not earn ANY of the other day’s money they are charging us, nor did they suffer any loss from our not staying the other nights. All they had to do was clean up (if they even did that) a room that was filthy to begin with (again, detailed below). At the time of making the reservation, we were NEVER told that if we did not stay during the entire stay that we would forfeit ALL the pre-paid money. All we saw or was told at the time of paying the reservation was the box titled “Your Choice” “If you cancel after reservation, the cancellation fee will be the cost of the first night. If you don’t show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the cancellation fee. No prepayment is needed.” This all seemed NORMAL and APPROPRIATE. When making the reservation, we were told we could lock in that nightly rate by paying for all the days in advance. Otherwise, we would be subject to possible higher nightly rates during the stay. At the time of making the reservation, we were NEVER told we would forfeit all the money after staying one night, if we chose to leave prior to the full 12 days that they encouraged us to pay to keep the nightly costs lower.

Liked: The shower pressure and AC blows good.
Disliked: You can tell they don't mop floors, wipe walls, chairs and etc between customers. It smelled like smoke and no cleaning products was used.
