A clean place to stay...

Liked: Very clean and friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

We were comfortable.

Liked: Spa tub, large comfortable king bed, clean breakfast room with a nice selection of food and beverages, clean room, nice manager, not too far to drive to see the falls, close to shopping outlets and eateries.
Disliked: 1970s colors for curtains, carpet, and bedspread. Only 3 pillows for the 2 of us and we both like to sleep with 2. I suppose we could have asked for an extra but when you get a king size bed it is sort of expected it would come with more.

Disliked: The night staff was very rude and refused to check us in, we ended up having to find another hotel at night. The most frustrating part is that he kept trying to get us to redo the reservation with him for a higher price stating he'd have to rebook when there was nothing wrong with our booking.com reservation. I have travel pretty often and the only other time something like this happened was in Virginia when a hotel insisted I rebook and pay in cash, so I got a receipt for the cash payment because my booking with the hotel was still valid and on my debit card I showed the manager this and asked for either a refund of the cash or on my card to which she said the card would be refunded...I filed a police report and of course had to dispute the charge. Long story short I don't know what he was doing but he wasn't doing anything with integrity.
