One of the worst Wyndhams...

Liked: The staff was helpful and friendly.
Disliked: There were totes, mini fridges, and other stuff left in the hallways. The hallways were also very dirty. The room was cleaner than the hallways but not by much. The shampoo was a bottle I recognized from other Wyndham hotels but its contents did not match the label. It smelled like ginger but was labeled cucumber. Which was very strange. Also I couldn’t figure out how to work the shower.

Liked: I never stayed at super 8 it was canceled the hotel canceled it and the hotel staff are racist and they are evil I was only there 3 minutes the owner try to charge me $240 when I was only supposed to pay $127 so I never stayed I want knights in in Merrillville Indiana. I never stayed at super 8 I left
Disliked: I never stayed in the hotel I was only there for 3 minutes and a staff lied and I canceled it and the motel canceled it the same day the staff was trying to get over on me by $240 when I was only supposed to pay $127 so I never stayed I want to another hotel I would never go to super 8 in Merrillville ever in my life they are racist

A great basic hotel with...

Liked: We were in town from Australia for a family wedding and the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Very basic, older hotel but it was clean with a great location. Beds were pretty comfortable too and I totally appreciated the extra pillows and blankets they provided at our request. Staff was beyond excellent and so very friendly, they always had a smile for us. The room was always beautifully cleaned. Hotel was very close to shopping (Southlake Mall, Target, Micheal's Crafts, movie cinema) and an endless number of restaurants. We enjoyed Starbucks, Olive Garden, Chick-fil-A, Cooper's, and of course, Dairy Queen!!! Easy to drive in the area but you could walk as stores and restaurants are quite close.
Disliked: Needs some updates, a bit of work from a handyman could spruce the place up without much expense. The bathroom light is on a timer so there were a couple of times that the light went out during my shower but I just waved the curtain a bit and the lights came on. We could smell pot in the hall a couple of times but it didn't linger too long, probably someone came in with the smell on their clothes.

Disliked: It wasn’t clean, the tub had mold

Liked: Clean, nicely redecorated room. I almost enjoyed the stay.
Disliked: The cum splotch on the corner of the bedspread was pretty disgusting and off-putting! Yeccchhh!!
