Liked: Loved how it was close to several shopping centers perfect for grabbing snacks and forgotten items.
Disliked: The room had a strange musty smell but It wasn't to bad at all and got used to it within 5mins.

Disliked: Staff wasn’t available, stood at front desk for a long time with no help, the pool looked murky, could hear everything outside room, pictures do not show what most rooms look like, very old, not updated, television was super small. Didn’t stay, left and went to the AmeriInn across the street! Much much better!

Liked: Breakfast was basic prepare yourself - adequate but not outstanding/unusual. It closes at 9:00AM.The location was great for anything in the Iowa Falls area and about 90 minutes from Des Moines via the Interstate. It’s across the street from Walmart for any supplies you forgot to pack or just need.There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room - which we weren’t sure we would have.
Disliked: The room had a musty smell which improved when we opened a window overnight.There were 2 hand towels at the sink (which is in the bedroom, not the bathroom) but no washcloths. Bath towels and wash cloths were in the bathroom.A minor comment is that the ice machines were empty and there isn’t a waste basket in the bathroom - only one under the sink in the bedroom.

Liked: Had pool, was close to Iowa Speedway where we were going on Sun July 14, we arrived approx 7P to the parking lot and there were 15 ppl in chairs drinking smoking cigarettes and marijuana and they were loud. They were initially friendly asking us to join etc we passed went to ck in I told him to cancel the following nights Res for 7/14 as WE WOULD NOT BE COMING BACK!! and they had no handicap rooms or elevator and our room was rt above the drunks and you could smell the smoke from the cigarettes and marijuana if we had AC on. We called front desk several times and they never answered, so we tried going to the swimming pool- couldn’t swim it was like a hot tub temp 98 and guy knew it, he opened the door and said lock it up when you leave and yet the pool was supposed to be closed an hour prior and again in the morning the breakfast was less than I expected and there wasn’t even waffle batter or anything like fresh fruit etc it was a horrible sleepless night and to top it off we waited for 20 mins to talk to mngr and he/she nvr came to front desk we just had to leave the key in some basket- the lady in breakfast area told me that after she saw us still waiting for the mngr to address the issues and I told him at 8P sat July 13th WE WOULD NOT BE RETURNING AND TO CANCEL RES ON SUN JULY 14 he said no problem you have until 11A tomorrow to cancel and I said no cancel it NOW!
Disliked: Noise coming in the room, the smell of smoke from cigs and marijuana coming up into our AC from the ppl partying in the parking lot rt below our window!! Ask if they could move, they told us to get a different room if we didn’t like the one we were in; that wasn’t the issue THEY WERE we tried calling and no one answered so we tried going swimming and it was so hot you couldn’t go in the water it was 98 like a hot tub and the rooms were okay and semi clean, there were a few things that were overlooked like a working ice machine but in our room we didn’t even have cups for water or anything to shower with we brought our own shampoo etc thankfully it was just the combination of all the different things that happened lack of response or caring from the desk and I told them everything was not good and I was overcharged etc and I have yet to hear back most of it was by text or email- yeah they didn’t even have curtesy to call me so I could speak with a real person I just want my $174.72 refunded as per the promise from one of the people I emailed or texted with. I saved those as well
