My family and I stayed in this hotel from October 5, 2017 to October 7, 2017. They had a sign on the door stating they were renovating and such, which was no big deal. We got in and we checked in and went to our rooms. It was a decent sized room, but you'd think with four people and a baby staying in there we would have trash cans a little bit bigger than the size of a two liter bottle laying flat. My mom asked the front desk for extra pillows and they said they would bring them by the room shortly. An hour or two goes by, still no pillows, so my cousin goes to the front desk and asks again, once again we wait and then about another hour later, one of the people working called down saying that she couldn't find any pillows and that she didn't have the key to the laundry room, so we couldn't get any extra pillows. Each bed had a sheet, a blanket and then some kind of curtain thing that was to be used as a blanket I guess? I'm not really sure. The bed I shared with my cousin was leaning on one side like too many people had sat on that side of the bed. Nobody ever came to give us new blankets or new towels or anything of the sorts. Our trash cans were full numerous times and we had to take them to the door that was outside and throw them in that trash can which was full for two days. The bathroom when you first walk into the hotel is disgusting and should probably be closed; they claimed to offer laundry services for guests, but it was out of order and didn't seem like it would be useable anyways. The ice bucket we were given seemed more like the kind of thing you put in your bathroom that holds hand soaps. They served free breakfast, but the orange juice machine was 'out of order', so the only option was coffee. They had no smoking signs all throughout the hotel and we were told if you smoked in the rooms, there would be a $200 fee added to your account for your stay, but the first two nights we were there, it smelled like 'marijuana' - you could smell it at the end of the hallway to the other end of the hallway; it took my mom and another guests for somebody to do something about it. At one point Friday, my dad used the bathroom and he saw a cockroach and when there's one there's normally more; there was also a spider crawling around that seemed like it came out of nowhere. The people that were working at the front desk didn't seem very interested in their jobs - they were either playing on their phones or outside the front door of the building smoking when the sign on the door said it was against state laws to smoke in front of the door. After we got back from the zoo on Friday morning, the key card wouldn't work, so they had to reactivate them and they made it sound like we did something wrong. This was our first time traveling and the motel stay was very interesting to say the least.

Liked: Bed was comfy.
Disliked: Lots.

I only slept there, nothing...

Liked: I did not eat the breakfast if there was any at all
Disliked: When ai arrived I was told that I had no reservation and that I was at the wrong place. I then showed my confirmation for the room and I was still told I was wrong, staff continued to look and finally found it after about 30 minutes of waiting after driving over 4 hours. I finally went to gather my things from my car and went upstairs to the room that I was given only to have the staff come tell me that he made a mistake and gave me the wrong room. I then had to carry all my luggage back downstairs and wait another 10 minutes for the staff to fix his error. I had to put down a 150 deposit on the day of arrival which was 3/7/25 and I left 3/10/24 and I still have not received my deposit back and it's now 4/6/25, I was told it would be returned within 3 to 5 days. I will never stay there when traveling ever again. The only ok thing was that the bed was comfortable but the pillows were really flat. I give 1 star, despite what the site is labeling it. Definitely not a 3 star.

Liked: Beds were nice, and was for the most part clean. Everything was unplugged in the room but when plugged in everything worked just fine.
Disliked: TV remote was redneck rigged together. Never got my deposit back as said on front counter refunded upon checkout.

Worst place I have ever...

Liked: We left when we found bedbugs. The smell of Marijuana was overpowering in the halls. The phone didn't work. The staff was not helpful and at times very rude. We were told we wouldn't get a refund. STOP BOOKING ROOMS WITH THEM!
Disliked: I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I will not be booking rooms through this site again. I found one that actually books CLEAN ROOMS. We were two women from out of state and felt very unsafe there. I was shocked that booking.com worked with these kind of motels.

Awful

Liked: The TV didn't work, we had zero hot water and the ceiling leaked and ruined my husbands boots and soaked his clothes and phone. The manager evwn came and looked and offered a $12 refund. Ridiculous service
