Disappointing

Room was very nice.

Disliked: Too many email. At least 15 email. Even got more email asking me to check in after I checked out.

Very nice stay

Liked: Very easy to get to , and very quiet
Disliked: Beds could have been just a bit softer . But that is personal preferance

I liked the property and...

Liked: Property and rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable but was hard to get into due to the height of it.
Disliked: Asked for a handicapped room and it wasn't a true handicapped room. The hall entrance to the room was wide, as was the bathroom but that it where it ended. The bathroom had a shower, with grab bars BUT I could not use it because I am unable to lift my legs over the side of the tub. The shower head was high and was not easily reached to move to a lower position if I had used it. The toilet was very low making getting up difficult even with the grab bars. The bedroom area was not large enough to move around with my walker. The distance between the dresser and bed was approximately 34 inches, just barely getting the walker through. The bed had no room to move the walker except sideways along with the ironing board was attached to the wall at the corner of the entrance to the bed. The hall light and bed lights could only be turned on by pushing the switch on the light itself. Not a good thing for a handicapped person to deal with instead of a light switch on the wall. My friend's room was uncomfortable bed, low bathroom sink, not enough hot water for shower.

Best breakfast in the world...

Liked: Lovely bed and sheets, all very clean.Good location for the highway but no traffic noise at all. Close to resturants and a supermarket.But the highlight was the breakfast. This was the best motel breakfast in three months of travelling.Everything, scones, porrage, toast, eggs, cereal, cake, fresh fruit and on and on. The best ever. A lot of care has been taken here and it shows. Do not pass this wonderful motel by. They are not all created equal.

Bed bugs, dismissive staff.

Disliked: Bed bugs. After laying down for the evening I noticed a few bed bugs on the mattress. Brought dead bug out to show manager. Was offered a different room (declined) he stated in the morning they would process a refund after inspection if they found bed bugs. I told him, I had just literally shown him a bed bug. He said that’s all he could do. I asked for him to send me an email stating that they would start the process of a refund. He said no, just trust me… he then called the police on me. I received a refund and a letter stated I’m no longer welcome (not that I wanted to rent there again)
