Fair, at best!

Liked: At time of booking I was happy to know there was a free breakfast. After check in we had a few issues with our room, the employee was very helpful in correcting each problem I presented her with.
Disliked: The free breakfast was only fair, at best. The photos showed cereal and a waffle maker, juice machine and what I “assumed” was a bread/bagel box. While they did have cereal, it was plain corn flakes! They did have a waffle maker but I had to ask if they provided syrup as there wasn’t any out. The employee did admit he had forgotten to put it out. They had yogurt which was FROZEN! I asked about fruit. They said they do not currently have any fresh fruit. When we got to our room after checking in one of our key cards did not work. After getting into the room, we discovered the floor lamp was not working and the TV remote did not work. It ended up not being an issue with the remote but the TV, itself would not turn on when we tried the power button on IT. We were moved to a different room. The curtain in the “new” room was FILTHY. AND, the TV remote did not work. The employee did fix the remote for us.

Liked: Been here a few times. It is better one of the better motels in Rochester. And I like that they serve breakfast, don't have to go out.

Does the job

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful, but I was given a key to a room that was already occupied by two people, so I had to transfer rooms immediately.The room was okay and the bed was very comfortable, but the walls had been chipped in many places. The safe didn't work, neither did the TV, which I was told at the reception would not work anyways.The bathroom was small but worked fine, no issues.The "free breakfast" was underwhelming, just juice really.The location isn't great either, not necessarily the fault of the hotel but an uber/ride is required.The lobby had a half eaten cold pizza left behind from the previous night. It was nice otherwise.It did the job.
