Super 8 by Wyndham Gulfport Near Biloxi, Gulfport

We only stayed one night and it was a nice stay; clean room and comfortable bed.

Liked: The room was very clean and the bed was so very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: The remote didn't work but probably just needed new batteries.

Regretfully, my husband and I will not be staying at America's Best Value Inn anymore. The moment we opened the door, which made an awful noise, we smelled stale cigarette smoke. The next thing was that the room felt damp and clammy. The carpet was damp and dirty. The lamp shades were not only dirty but about to fall apart. The shower rod was about to fall down - it was very loose and so was the towel rack. The towels were clean but were damp, almost wet. The tank for the toilet had been recently replaced and still had the stickers on it. The bath mat and towels said "Hampton Inn", as well as the telephone number. That would not have been a deal breaker - however, we did wonder how they ended up at America's Best Value Inn. With tax, the room cost $85.00. For a few dollars more, we could have stayed at a competitor's motel that did not reek of cigarette smoke and would have been clean with dry towels. I will say that the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and the air conditioner worked. The other appliances worked also (TV, refrigerator and microwave).

Disliked: The room is outdated. The entry door to the outside needed weather stripping. The room was humid and the AC could barely keep up. The breakfast offered was cereal and waffles. Nothing else. Does not meet the Super 8 standard. Very disappointing.

Liked: To be completely honest, nothing. I liked my waffle that I had at breakfast. Otherwise, this is one of the worst. If not THE worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. I requested a room change and the room was still DISGUSTING.
Disliked: The first room that I had, let’s just say had dirty towels. Filthy walls and floors. Also the bathroom smelled like straight urine with feces in the toilet as well. Shower also wasn’t cleaned, only thing that had been made was the bed.
