Cigarette holes, sexist check-in, and...

Liked: Good location and slightly updated room compared to some super 8s.
Disliked: Staff refused to allow my wife to check in, said she can't check in without a husband which seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Paper thin walls (could hear the guest next door's phone ring like it was in our room) e, several cigarette burns through the covers, and to top it off- 180+ dollars during a snow storm for a motel 8 is weather gouging. I will be reporting to the better business bureau unless this is remedied.

Disliked: Everything from the smell, to the dated fixtures, bugs, restroom had mold, cracks on the ceiling, chewed gum from previous desk on bed side table…I can go on and on. Worst hotel/motel I’ve ever stayed at! Definitely not worth the price.

The staff was friendly and...

Liked: I liked the extra pillows and sheets. I liked that I was able to get a keycard replacement for free. I liked the A/C in the room.
Disliked: The room was not clean. The ceiling fan was covered in dust. The walls had splash stains and mold stains. The sheets had stains on them. The comforter had cigarette burns in them.

Very poor

Disliked: The rooms were shabby.

Will not repeat the stay.

Liked: Location was good. Miss Kay front desk lady was amazing!
Disliked: Room was dirty when I arrived in the afternoon. It should have been ready at 11am per the website. Manager was rude first told me I had to wait. Then gave me another room. However, that room the water never got hot. Internet kept going off line. It was difficult to get work done.

Liked: I filled out this on first form. Wanted to explain and add to next question below.
Disliked: I want to add that I am officially disabled and have a disability sticker for my vehicle. I don't think this would have mattered to this manager, though. But I'm pretty sure there are accomodations associated with the category. In my case, I just needed a little extra time--20 to 45 minutes--to vacate the room satisfactorily. I make a point of leaving things easy for the room cleaners to pick up, without their having to bend over to the floor, etc.&-for towels and I tie up my garbage bags, often leaving a room even cleaner than I found it, short of sanitizing--which I also do as I'm using facilities Anyway, this manager had absolutely no leeway to offer, not 20 minutes nor an hour, and he was, in addition, rude to a weary, disabled guest. In sharp contrast to the night manager who was welcoming and very nice!
