How hotels rob you

Disliked: They claimed that we smoked in our room and kept my deposit. They didn't check the room before we left so we couldn't dispute it. When they check the room before I leave there's never an issue, but if they check the room after I leave, they always say that they find ashes.

Liked: The front desk staff assisted us with a few issues, got them fixed quickly.
Disliked: Location is difficult to access and is located directly at an major intersection, which is a little stressful in knowing where to go and which road. There are no crosswalks to allow you to cross the street to get to restaurants, etc. Very dangerous intersection w/ a high volume of traffic. Not the hotels fault, but the city needs to address the safety aspects for pedestrians in the area.

Liked: My deposit was not refunded saying towels were ruined and we only took showers.
Disliked: Not getting my refund

Liked: They offer free breakfast
Disliked: The beds were super uncomfortable. The tv not working, the remote not working as well. The room I had, must’ve been a smokers room because you can see where there must’ve been a fire at or something. The shower curtain was ripped, the “blanket” was also ripped and had a cigarette burn on it. Got double charged for a deposit as well and still no response from the manager or whoever runs this place. The people at the front desk are not helpful at all. Maybe one of them from the night shift but that’s it. Oh let’s not forget the “safe” box didn’t even work. Oh let’s not forget whoever Denise is, seemed like she didn’t know what was going on.

Disliked: it was a trash heap; carpets everywhere were extremely filthy the room was wood flooring thank god. Every photo is Not what you get. i did the non refundable option & I wish that I did not. this is my first real bad experience with Bookings.
