All Good

Liked: Easy access to 26. Large, clean rooms. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a small assembly of cereals, bagels, donuts, and assorted juices. The lighting in room was great! Usually hotel rooms are kinda dark, this one was nice. Comfortable bed. Plenty to do nearby.
Disliked: It's a bit outdated but that's just nitpicking.

Disliked: Made reservation as I was in the mountains of Ashville working on Helene rebuild could not get to the hotel as road was impassable and no alt route. Would not allow me to cancel with refund. Under normal circumstances I would understand this was a non refundable reservation, however since we wanted to go but got stopped by the state troopers and were not allowed to get there we feel an exception should be made and a full or at least partial refund should be offered.

The room was clean enough....

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: The property needs updating something bad. The outside needs to be kept better. Old wood, flower pots, junk laying around and in piles. Very old interior. Had to walk the stairs. No elevator. It was hot inside. The room has several patch jobs on ceiling. Old furniture. Gross carpets that are dirty. The top white bed linen was stained all up. View out the back to a pile of junk in the corner of the yard. Other window by the stairs over looks a neighbors yard with a bunch of junk all over.

Disliked: No hot water in first room assigned. I had to move to another room.
