Super 8 by Wyndham Cedar City, Cedar City

I 10/10 dont recommend!

Disliked: We checked in and wasn’t in the room for maybe 10 minutes when my brother decided to stop and sleep for a couple hours so I went back to the front desk to let them know because he had his service dog with him and they said it wasn’t a pet room and because we had used the bathroom (I just went pee) and I had pulled the bedding down and did a check for bed bugs because that is the first thing I always do and previous reviews did say they had them before, they refused to let us move to a pet friendly room because they claimed the maid was going to have to remake the whole bed and strip the sheets off, I highly doubt that! They literally have to touch the bedding more than I did to make it, what’s the difference? All I did was look to see if there was any bed bugs and they wouldn’t have even known if I didn’t tell them that, and I even offered to clean the toilet seat that I sat on but they refused. I could see if we had even so much as sat on the bed, but we didn’t. It was literally just the toilet that was used. It’s obvious they will take every dime they can get from you with all the signs they have hanging up about policies that aren’t stated in the policies on booking.com. We left and got a room somewhere else I wasn’t about to pay for another room there and give them anymore of my money and I was concerned that they would try to keep my deposit for some made up reason if I stayed because they were very rude, and I would be willing to bet anything that the beds that we didn’t use didn’t get stripped down after we left.

Disliked: People slamming doors and being noisy when we were trying to sleep but other than that it was a good stay

Would NOT recommend this property...

Liked: Poorly attended to. Milk not refrigerated. Food not replenished mostly gone 30 min into three hour service. Service area dirty and garbage can overflowing. Health dept should be contacted on this one.
Disliked: Bathtub and toilet not well cleaning. Plumbing not maintained. Bathtub faucet leak, vent fan cover missing.Heater fan had unbearable noise. Room above us full of teenagers being unruly and loud until well after midnight even after we contacted front desk.

Iffy at best!!! Just because...

Disliked: There were no drain plugs in the bathroom sink or tub . Wife was told to wash her face in the tub!!! This is VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would not recommend this Super 8 to anyone. This location could learn a thing or two from the Super 8 in Pocatello Idaho.

Liked: For the price, it was good. A lot better than others in the area that were more expensive.

Budget friendly, good location

Liked: Good location and friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Our room was clean. The free breakfast was nice. Coffee, juices, cereals, waffles, and toasts were available.
Disliked: Laundry is only available during certain hours, I was not aware until we arrived and checked in. We arrived too late and were leaving too early to wash our laundry. Exiting the elevator on the 3rd floor, there is a piece of flooring that is lifting, we kept tripping on it.
