Exceptional
Liked: My husband was having surgery and the hotel was only 5 minutes away fromthehospital. I had to bring 2 cats with me, so it was nice to know that they were safe in the room. The staff worked with me when I had to stay an extra night.

A short stay, value for...
Liked: Some minor aggravations: hair dryer would not work, no sink stopper in bathroom sink. Parking lot could use some better lighting, both for security and convenience. Kitchen morning staff friendly. Our third time there. Location signage directions from city street to hotel could be better.

Good
Liked: The price is the main reason.
Disliked: The “complimentary breakfast” was poor, fast food restaurants have better options. If you like waffles and cold cereal then it’s great but personally it wasn’t too impressed.

Disappointed with the fact that...
Liked: Clean room, friendly staff.
Disliked: Breakfast food was old and dry. The TV remote only worked half the time.

Fine
Liked: It was clean and comfortable and conveniently right off the freeway, but lower than the overpass so noise was not an issue. The manager, Randy, was very kind and helpful.
Disliked: The property is non-smoking, but it was obvious someone had been smoking in the room we were assigned. Efforts had been made to remove the smell, but that is impossible without totally removing the carpet and repainting, which hadn’t been done. I suggest you triple the fine for smoking in a room. When we brought it to the manager’s attention, we were moved right away.

Blackfoot Stay
Liked: The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. She had decorated the lobby and office for Halloween and been very creative without any of it obstructing the coming, going, or dining of the guests. She was able to help me make copies that I needed for the meetings I was attending. The clerk at checkout was also helpful, efficient, and polite. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The parking area was practical, well lit, level, and had plenty of handicapped places. I felt safe in this hotel. The breakfast was nice.
Disliked: This hotel is challenging to get to, but I had read the comments about it so I studied the maps and was able to come and go as needed. I spent two days/nights, and the vacuum cleaners the housekeeping crew used were very loud and whined at an uncomfortable pitch - and the doors to the rooms are where the most noise penetrates. There was also a crying baby in a room across the hall and a yippy dog in the other room across the hall so I heard more of that than I liked during the day but they were all quiet in the night. I kept a fan going and audiobooks playing during the evenings to balance the sounds I couldn't control.Only one luggage cart being available to guests was a difficulty because I can't get all of my baggage on wheels but the desk clerk tracked down the cart and brought it to me and I made it to my meeting.
