Disliked: The fact I got charged 250 for a smoking in the room fee which never occurred. We absolutely did not smoke in the room or around any doorways . The manager sent me a email. Her name is dawn and said she came to our room Nov 1st in the afternoon to address the smell of smoke and we refused to answer. Well we were both at work by 630 that morning and didn't even around back to the hotel til around 8pm that night. Said they had complaints saying it was coming from our room and when I talked to staff there they said no one complained and that they did a walk in on Saturday and didn't see or smell anything. Also the entire hallway constantly reaked of marijuana and neither I or my son smoke that so that definitely wasn't us. The maids did not speak English so it was like pulling teeth trying to get basics like towels or toilet paper. I emailed back and said that ,that was a blatant lie and have not heard back. Also never received notice until after 6 days of checking out. The staff was friendly the manager is a blatant liar and BTW we checked out at 6am on the 3rd.

It was a depressing place....

Liked: It was clean.
Disliked: Very small room. No microwave. Uncomfortable mattress. Outside window was filthy. Room and hallway dingy. Absolute minimum items like paper cups. coffee, no tea. Very basic breakfast items. Old, worn furniture.

Liked: We liked how Super 8 looked decent on the outside but once you went in it was very old fashioned and cluttered at the entrance. Employees were nice however nothing exceptional. One of the guys working night shift was in no hurry to help customers and putting people on hold when they called the hotel. That was one reason I had to use 3rd party to book. Same thing happen me. The inside of this hotel needs to be updated out with the old and in with the new fresh look.
Disliked: I stated this in the first question lots of updating needs to happen.
