Nice place for the price.

It was comfortable other than...

Liked: Breakfast was sparse but then was pretty much what was expected.
Disliked: I asked for a non smoking room. The room had been previously smoked in to the point of gagging me upon entering. The bathroom floor had just been mopped 6pm. Making me feel as the room was an after thought for my reservation. I was expected to leave a 50.00 room deposit where I have never had to do that before. They wanted to charge it to my card with a return time of 2 to 3 days, no thank you. I reluctantly left a cash deposit which I did get back after a room check.

Okay, even Comfortable, disappointing Breakfast

Liked: - Good Location.- Comfortable Bed and TV, though Dish had no local channels.- Good below window HVAC unit, fairly quiet, effective.- Good Shower head.
Disliked: -Stair and Hallway Carpet is in dire need of a cleaning, if not replacement.-Breakfast area was small and crowded, with 3 tables, 10 chairs.-Breakfast was Disappointing. I always look forward to a nice breakfast, and I did not expect a lot (knew there was nothing hot). But I did expect them to have the items they listed as part of their breakfast, yet they ran out of one of their best items (muffins) on Saturday, and had not gotten more by Sunday. If their shipment is late as they said, buy something at the Kroger a block away. Lacking what they advertise is a significant issue with me.

Liked: The staff was friendly and able to answer questions - the property location is close to the major highway, and near restaurants and services. While the sink in the bathroom was obviously recently repaired - the room and the bathroom were clean and smelled fresh.
Disliked: The window on the ground floor facing the parking lot does not have a lock - it is "secured" by a wooden dowel in the window slide tray. The security lock to the hallway door was broken and inoperable - the door opened freely without a room key, and was never secured during the time I was there. I told upon checking in that there was an additional $50 "security deposit required" and that it would be refunded in the morning. I was charged the additional amount for no reason, and could NOT get an itemized bill when I checked out from the front desk staff. I was asked to leave an email address and they would "forward" the final bill - haven't seen it yet. The complimentary "breakfast" was cold cereal left out overnight in dispensers, bananas, and a gallon of milk to serve yourself - and anyone else that touched it - in a small counter refrigerator.
