Incredible mountain resort!!!

Liked: We absolutely loved the Mountain Plaza Hotel and highly recommend it!! Everything was perfect. Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids aged 8 and 10) had the best time. The hotel and rooms were thoughtfully designed, spacious, and clean. The staff was very accommodating in ensuring that we had two sets of connected rooms to best fit our needs. Our view from the balcony was incredible facing Jakobshorn. There were so many things on site to keep us all entertained and happy - swimming pool, sauna, game room, movie theater, and the cozy lobby with games (pool and foosball), plenty of cozy seating, a bar and live piano music. The ski room and on site rentals were super convenient. Breakfast was wonderful and we ate dinner at the restaurant two nights because it was delicious, convenient and comfortable. The location was perfect being a block away from the main street and bus stop that takes you to Davos Dorf (Parsenn) and Davos Platz (Jakobshorn). The hotel shuttle to Jakobshorn and Parsenn was very convenient and we used it each time we went skiing. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Liked: Great location and nicely renovated. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The staff in the Stübli restaurant seemed confused and lacking experience. Also, my room was fine but the walls were thin and I could everything next door (especially at night).

Liked: quiet roomvalue for money in the restaurant
Disliked: friendliness reception, an elderly lady wasn't in a good mood, some of the breakfast waiters neitherbreakfast: oat milk or almond milk missing, normally in every 4 to 5 star hotel, no fishroom too hot and too dry, heater not been able to be regulated, spa area not nice. bio sauna area on the other side, no relaxing room, instead walking through loud kids and pool area, impossible to relax

Liked: The location is perfect, really close to the station and with a great view of the surrounding mountains The breakfast was amazing, definitely the best part. We enjoy some time at the pool and the sauna which were also good. The restaurant was great, we had a lovely dinner there and the staff in general was really nice.
Disliked: I understand the room that I booked was not the best quality one, however it didn’t look quite like the pictures. In general both finishes and furniture were very outdated and the carpet at our room was very stained, giving the impression that it was very dirty.

Disliked: The single room was poor and the facilities old. I didn’t liked the spa area at all. The water temperature was too cold. The music at the spa was too loud and not all relaxing vibes. The spa area had a weird smell of chlorine and sweat.
