Liked: This was our second time here, but this time with snow—believe it or not! It’s a rare sight, but a true miracle happened on Destin Beach. The breakfast was decent, with eggs and hot coffee to start the day. Since we visited during the snowfall, everything looked absolutely beautiful, like a winter wonderland on the White Coast.The beach is within walking distance from the hotel, making it a convenient spot. The rooms were clean, and both the indoor and outdoor pools were heated, which was perfect for the chilly 28-degree weather. This hotel is a hidden gem—close to everything, clean, offering breakfast, and all at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be coming back next time!
Disliked: I have no complaints; there was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel. It’s very good! The free toothpaste was broken.

Liked: We are repeat customers and love Mistelle and her staff... They are extremely nice and helpful! The hotel is clean and convenient to anywhere you want to be in Destin.
Disliked: While I was there, I had a sudden death in the family, grandmother, and the front desk would not accommodate possibly moving my nights of stay to a later date. I didn't/wasn't asking for a refund, just maybe to utilize the days when I wasn't having to rush out and home for a death. I was informed there is a strict 'no change' policy and that pretty much was that. That's unfortunate, as we love the SummerPlace Inn...
