Very disappointed with the facilities

Liked: The grounds are lovely and Arthurs restaurant is brilliant. Staff did their best The breakfasts were hearty and plenty of it. Although queuing was a bit irritating and it was very noisy because of the amount of people in the room
Disliked: The accommodation was dirtyThe bathroom had mould around the shower screenThere was a wooden board that was damp and dirtyThe bedding was inadequateThere were only 2 tea bags in the room and when I asked for more the staff said they didn't have any. They would get some but I asked every day for 3 days and was told they still didn't have any. In the end I asked why someone had not gone out to buy some at the sops. They had no answer for that.

Liked: The onsite campus and facilities, such as shop, bar, restaurant.
Disliked: My room was not very comfortable for the money, the TV was small and old with poor reception. The room was tired, and needs updating. Expensive bar. Lack of staff, and using a robot instead was a little gimmicky. A bit chaotic at breakfast.

Liked: Easy check in, comfortable beds, tea-making facilities, secure access to buildings, extensive and delicious breakfast, warm and friendly staff, luggage holding before check in and after check out, lovely campus, good value for money during expensive festival period
Disliked: Nothing!

Excellent in Edinburgh

Liked: I was so happy with my stay here. The room and breakfast and Uni in general were all fantastic. I was so comfortable and felt very safe. I had a great view of Arthur's Seat from my room. The whole experience exceeded my expectations for sure. It was fun to feel like I was back in my college days!
Disliked: everything was great for me, the location is a bit out of the city center, but I love walking and also used the bus
