Happy/Not happy

Liked: We enjoyed the location and the room, especially since the room overlooked the beach! It was clean, roomy & comfortable. And they even gave us an extra parking pass since we brought the classic car back for the last night.
Disliked: Booking.com canceled our reservation before we arrived even though we reserved it in Dec last year! We were not the only couple who this happened to. At least we only drove 2hrs to get there. The other couple drove 1000 miles & I do not know the results of their stay. Now, if it had just been us, I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought. But since it happened to them too, I will not be giving booking.com my business again. I have already reserved another room at the same establishment for Nov through their own website.

nightmare

Disliked: I booked and paid for two rooms with direct access to the beach a month before arrival. It turned out that one room was not available and we were given a room on the 5th floor. The lady at the reception explained that it was the fault of the booking service.In addition, the room (the one with direct access to the beach) does not look at all like the pictures presented in the offer. There were supposed to be two separate bedrooms, but there was one. Of course, the receptionist stated that the booking service was to blame because it chooses the photos for the room description.I asked for a discount for the inconvenience, and the receptionist said that booking would pay us the money.

If they would get rid...

Liked: There were German cockroaches in the room coming out the walls and we had to dump all of our stuff and throw some away
Disliked: The roach infestation in the walls

Overall it was pleasant and...

Liked: The location, customer service, the cleanliness. When I arrived I got exactly what I reserved and that was beachfront.
Disliked: No telephone in the room, never seen a housekeeper. I had to go to the front office for service.

Liked: LOVE the location! Room clean & comfy, nice staff.
Disliked: Should have hair dryers and dish drainer available.
