Passable

Liked: Very clean, paid a huge amount for one night thinking the room would be a bit nicer. It was a very standard room. Bigger, but I had anticipated for $660 for one night, a bit more luxurious. Very clean though. Bed comfy.
Disliked: I ordered a meats, breads and olives selection. It was terrible. The ham was not real ham, but budget, highly processed awful stuff. I could have done a better job at home! Was really disappointed with the quality for the price. So we were disappointed with the the food. The main reason for disappointment was that it was expensive and we had expected more for the price we paid. The staff were nice but tried to charge us for parking when we had not parked on site. There was also a surcharge of $60 because I paid with my debit card. I asked why we were being charged an extra 10% on top of the $660 for the room and she did not know how to explain it. We paid it anyway but it was sooooo expensive for what we actually got. Would not go back. Feel bad putting a stink review, but have to be honest. We've stayed at a lot of places for less money with nicer food, more knowledgeable staff and a better room.

Liked: Lovely hotel close to botanic gardens. Very helpful staff.
Disliked: Breakfast was crowded and food kept running out. People asking regularly for replacement of coffee, cutlery etc

Liked: Clean. Modern. Good location. Friendly staff. Large room.
Disliked: Just over $600 a night and NO robes, no slippers and no cotton pads/buds. Ordinary mattress and pillows.
