As advertised on their website
Liked: We didn’t eat breakfast. Teja, Front Desk, was very attentive to our needs and should be commended for her service. We were having a problem with our television and she promptly responded to our room and fixed the issue
Disliked: We were satisfied with the room and service and have no negative comments.

Disliked: When I arrived everything was good price was off by 20 bucks but ok go to room not cleaned go back to desk moved us to different room good i understand next room ok tv doesn't work girl at front desk tried nothing worked we had traveled a long way and were tired didn't want to move again we asked if the tv could be fixed no you have to move again if you want a TV no so we got a little upset next thing we know general manager of property calls saying we belittled his employee not once did anyone try to make things right with us but put all the blame on us told us if we diddnt like we could leave never have have I been treated like this I will never stay at achoice hotel again

Too many hassles
Liked: The room was a nice price and size for the price paid. Very comfortable with working air conditioning. The staff members I had spoken with over the phone were much more friendly than anyone we encountered in person.
Disliked: We were scheduled there for 5 nights and had to have our room cards re-keyed at least once a day or more so we could get back in to the room. The tv remote worked sporadically even after making yet another trip to the usually not friendly front desk staff.The real kicker was when we had to leave our room early after the 2nd night of our stay. We had to get to an event at the Quantico Marine Base. There is no daily room service during the stay and we were told nothing, barely even a hello when we checked in. So at 6a.m. we put a small lightweight bag of trash outside of our room door thinking it would be picked up during the day when any of the other rooms were serviced like when guests ended their stay and such. I was shocked while at the once in a lifetime event for my son, the hotel calls my cellphone. Thinking something was wrong, I answered only to be chastised for leaving the trashbag and was told where we should dispose of it ourselves. I have never stayed in a hotel that this has happened. I won't stay here again.

Superb
Liked: Perfect for one night. Little mixup at breakfast but it all worked out. We would stay there again if we are in the area. Coffee was delish and the creamer my favorite
Disliked: Breakfast. Just a little confusion when we went down to get breakfast but all was good in the end.

Very uncomfortable with some staff...
Liked: The kitchen supplies, pots, utensils are slim, the picture frames, bathroom mirror frame, lamps and lamp shades are old, dirty, and have a tarnished appearance. Guests are required to bring used towels to the front desk to exchange for clean laundry. Ask for toilet paper at front desk. They advertise a restaurant on the property, No. Advertise free breakfast, No. They offer a few items, that they call breakfast. Danish (cold from the fridge) tried to microwave, yeck. some kind of egg sandwich that the heat behind the front desk. Food not tasty. When I asked about free breakfast, I was told I could order out. Initially when I arrived, I asked about the possibility extendeding my stay, the woman said not with “Booking”. I began making requests with another guest service person. Later, she set up my extended reservation with Booking, and instructed me what to do. I only hope I received a good rate however, the person that handled the check-in on September 7th was always rude to me. I lost all comfort with her and became suspicious, of racism. I had to go back to my room for my ID and credit card. When I returned to the front desk a black woman was handling business with the guest service person. I overheard their conversation when the guest said to the guest service person “(for example) is your name Susan Nelson”. Guest service person laughed and said no. The guest said oh, “she a white woman…” then she started throwing F BOMBS, 3-5 times about some experience she had on another trip she took. I felt that they were spouting racist slurs.
Disliked: I am homeless, trying to make the best of a really bad situation. Un-friendly staff didn’t help.
