Lakeland Retreat

Liked: Self contained apartment, comfy double bed. Private parking area. Nice wood burning stove with good supply of logs. Fabulous welcome pack with bottle of wine, milk and breakfast cereals. Central location for easy journey's to Keswick or Ambleside or beyond.
Disliked: Only one little niggle, no mirror next to an electric socket for hair dryer etc Could be easily remedied.

Perfect getaway

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay! The location was fantastic and host was so friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast was great and set us up for our days.

Pleasant stay thanks to excellent...

Liked: The farm is a short distance from Keswick and was a great base for our Lake District travels. The owner was fantastic! We had hung our socks to dry in the room while we were out, and she hung them outside and brought them back in for us. She went the extra mile in multiple ways. The hospitality was fantastic.
Disliked: The only minor thing we could mention here is that the water pressure wasn’t the best. I believe most of the times we went to use the shower, there was also a fair few other people using the water so this could be the cause. We weren’t massively phased as the water was hot and we were still able to shower.

Good to be back.

Liked: Came here four years ago, it took us too long to get back here. Fantastic location, peaceful, quiet with your own little garden space to sit in peace and look out over the beautiful scenery. Breakfasts are great and the hosts are fantastic. You feel like you've got your own little corner of the lakes and we love it here. Come and go and you please with no interruptions from anybody else. It's fantastic here and well worth it. Many thanks for another fantastic time. We will absolutely see you again. Elaine & Ian. Sunderland
