Liked: Absolutely everything about this place was exceptional. The facilities in our accommodation was of very high standards. The owner was very polite and friendly and cooked us an amazing breakfast. The views from our accommodation were second to none with the wildlife rabbits and their babies hopping about just outside in the moonlight.They have thought of everything you would need for a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend to friends and family and would return

Perfect for any occasion being...

Liked: We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at lovely grounds of Sturmer Hall hotel even if it was winter time. We parked our car and found the entrance. We were greeted by the owner Triin who took us to our room that was set in the grounds. The room was warm and beautifully decorated. Tea coffee water and the usual biscuits were available. WI-FI was free and very good. We were left alone after explaining the breakfast arrangements. We went into Haverhill for a concert and returned to our room seeing lots of bunny rabbits and some muntjacs running about. The room was warm dark and very quiet for a relaxing nights sleep. In the morning made a brew got ready and went for a full English breakfast with a good selection of cereals yogurts and fresh fruit. Hot drinks and fruit juice on offer. We’d definitely stay again.
Disliked: The location peace and quiet.

Liked: I thought the stay was overpriced ..the bathroom was cold,the shower was very noise , the toilet system took forever to fill no privacy in the room unless you closed the curtains as it had large patio doors no net curtains bathroom door catch on the tiles Breakfast poor choice for money .i felt the room should only have costed £100

A very comfortable stay

Liked: We wanted to meet and dine with family who live local to Sturmer Hall and the location was perfect. The warm welcome, good food and the opportunity to spend time together afterwards unhurriedly was much appreciated by all so we very much enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike, but the property clearly has to work hard as a venue and there are some visible signs of tiredness. Some of the signage on the drive and at the house is hard to read which did trouble our family a little when they came to dine with us.
