Nice and quiet, just booked...

Liked: Check in was easy and the staff was okay, did have to wait a minute for them to come check us in but because it was a holiday we didn’t care.
Disliked: We booked a smoking room and were told there was no pet fee, the main reason we booked with them. When we got there to check in we learned that there was in fact a pet fee but it wasn’t outrageous so we went ahead with check in. He told us we booked a non smoking room and when I showed him that I in fact did not, he said they didn’t offer smoking rooms. Honestly not a big deal, it just would have been nice to know from the start. We booked under false pretenses but the stay was okay

Convenient + good value but...

Liked: Room size was spacious and comfortable. Appreciated that there was additional furniture like a sofa, bench and coffee table as well as a spacious counter at the bathroom sink.
Disliked: Fellow innkeeper here. Biggest issue was that this non-smoking room smelled very much like old cigarette smoke. This made it difficult to sleep well, and difficult to see the room as truly "clean". Secondly, while the bed linens seemed indeed clean, the pillows needed liners beneath the pillowcases -- you could see how well-worn and yellowed the pillows were -- and the quilted comforter had large yellow stains that would have been easily remedied with Oxi Spray or bleach spray in the laundering. Also, this king size bed weirdly only had 3 pillows when 4 is obvs standard, so we felt unnecessarily cheated.
