Disliked: Staff was rude and I was called a black bitch by front desk. When I complained to manager she was also rude. Place is infested with roaches

Disliked: Where do I start? Simply horrible staff at front desk the night before I left. The woman, Kelly, was polite and helpful. However, they put me in a smoking room only to yell at me for smoking! I was threatened to be evicted so I left willingly. The stove didn't work and the fridge wouldn't stay shut. I lost food. The bathroom sink stopped didn't work and was close shut so I had to brush my teeth and wash my face in the kitchen area sink. When I informed the maids and maintenance, nothing was fixed. When I called the front desk I was told that " if I didn't like it, I could leave." The staff was invasive and rude. They insisted to enter the room three times over three weeks. I'm super clean and scrubbed my floors on my hands and knee's each day bc the traffic from NJ -18 was in my room it seemed at times and the noise and pollution was horrific. I blew out black from my nose the few nights I left the window open to air out the room.I was placed between neighbors who were screaming and making demon like noises the second week. I asked as a retired nurse if there was something I could do. But the guy behind the desk just called "the demon room" and asked if the tenant needed an ambulance. I told the front desk I'd like to be moved, but they refused to move me.I could go on an in but this complaint will not be heard or rectified. It was ok for the first week,then it slowly, and then suddenly, started going down hill. And the hill got bumpy with threats and yelling. The cops and fire department were there daily. The first floor was loud and I got caught in the middle of a fist fight while walking to the outside door to the store. Fortunately,I was on the second floor and like I said, it was almost tolerable the first couple of weeks. But the last night I was scared of the front desk man screaming at me. So I left and haven't looked back until I was asked by booking.com for a statement of my stay.

Disliked: Room 223 has an ashtray aroma. Fire alarm went off 2x around 12midnight once stayed on long once was shorter. Both during time to sleep. Not saying it can’t happen but walking through the halls people are smoking cigarettes,on the steps people are smoking cigarettes on the phone and you’ll find cigarettes and weed remnants.
