Inexpensive And Clean Room, But...

Liked: The front office staff were very friendly. The hotel was fairly inexpensive, but bare-bone basics. I was only in town overnight to play in a local cornhole tournament, and needed a place to rest - the room served it's purpose in this regard. There was also a good sized refrigerator in the room, along with a stove and microwave, though I did not need to cook or prepare food.
Disliked: I learned at check-in that the fiber-based television service was down altogether - I had to watch football on my phone. I also learned at check-in that the ice machines were down - we had to come to the office for ice. The hotel room itself was clean, but sparse in amenities. There was no shampoo for the shower and no cups in room. I did not bring shampoo, so this was disappointing, but I did bring a cup for drinks. The bed was extremely stiff - this is a personal preference, and I'm sure some might like this. My friend that also stayed at this hotel, but in his own room, commented the next morning that he did not get a good night's sleep due to his overly stiff bed.
