Very good
Liked: Karl the owner and his friends made our stay unforgettable. Very good breakfast. It was a pleasure listening to Karl's stories during breakfast, which he made and sharing our travel experience.

Very good
Liked: The experience of an old fashioned Airbnb where the owner and his friends cooked for us and shared stories while we eat breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Little paradise on the Mississippi
Liked: This little B&B was the perfect place for us to stay while attending a friend's wedding. It is off the beaten path, but very close to major roadways. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, we felt like we were family when we left. We would definitely recommend that you stay here when visiting Muscatine. You won't be disappointed. Ask for the blueberry scones. They are amazing.

Liked: The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were super friendly. A relaxing getaway for our family. The location out on the old farm had lots of playful areas. The town has quite a few breweries, restaurants and many older nicely restored buildings!

Liked: Wonderful family of kind, friendly people. Delicious breakfast, although more than we could eat. Comfortable old farmhouse atmosphere.
Disliked: Nothing we can think of.

Liked: Mary and Karl were gracious when we let them know in advance we wouldn't arrive until 10-11pm, as we were headed east on a long day of road trip traveling. The quiche for breakfast was very yummy and loved the history throughout the house. Mary was kind to let us take the extra fruit with us on the next leg of our road trip.
Disliked: We had a room that fit our family of four. They let us know that there was a King bed, with a queen bed loft upstairs, and a couch that could sleep a person. The bed upstairs was actually a double (not queen) and the couch was not large enough to sleep our 10 year old little boy unfortunately. The BnB as a whole looked to be maintained and cleaned, but our rooms/space itself could have used a good sweeping and vacuuming. I'm not a fan of being barefoot in my room and stepping on an unclean floor (dust/dirt in corners and in bathroom and stepped on a Legos under the bed). We did not meet Karl, but Mary was kind and sat with us to have conversation during breakfast. I know it's humid in that part of the US but we both noticed Mary had body odor when we checked in and again at the breakfast table, which was a little off putting.
