Stayed for the Richie Blackmore concert at the Genting Arena. Very good hotel to stay at close to the arena. Clean; friendly and helpful.

Very good

Good hotel but WiFi needs...

Liked: Hotel is fine for an overnight stay close to the airport, room was nice and comfortable. Staff very pleasant.
Disliked: IWiFi was dreadful !It was non-existent in some rooms. We had to move rooms to be closer to the reception area where the WiFi was strongest. Also the area itself has poor mobile phone network reception so it is possible not to have any access at all.

Disliked: Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, charged £10 for parking as we hadn’t booked with the hotel direct, I know it was New Year’s Day but we didn’t go down for breakfast until 8.45 toaster wasn’t working and very disorganised

Disliked: The room needs an upgrade bathroom not good freezing cold room when arrived took ages to warm up. No handles on cupboards no tea spoon for tea and coffee

Liked: Location was ideal for what we wanted to do.
Disliked: Bed uncomfortable No towel rail in the bathroom, shower riser rail didn't support shower head. Had issues with electric heater which the staff sorted out.

Convenient for the National Motorcycle...

Liked: Convenient for the National Motorcycle Museum where we attended an event. We have stayed at the Strawberry Bank Hotel before and knew it was suitable for our needs. We liked the secure parking with CCTV for our motorcycles. All the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast and our evening meal were excellent.

Tired and dated. Changed since...

Liked: The pub was lovely, relaxed and rustic.staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking.
Disliked: The hotel is tired and dated. There's patches of mould or damp bubbling on the walls. Mould spores in the bathroom. No hot water in the morning for a shower No heating on so room and hallway was so cold.
