Excellent hotel for short stay...

Liked: The common lounge are is vey comfortable and the breakfast is very good, both for continental and English breakfast types
Disliked: The room was rather small and there was little room to navigate around the bed.

Liked: It was very clean. Typically British decorations. The staff is very nice.
Disliked: 1 small elevator and it is slow

Disappointed to have spent this...

Liked: Lovely building and location.
Disliked: The toilet was dirty when we arrived, it looked as if someone had an upset tummy. After telling reception they came up after 10 mins. Looked at it, flushed it and said ‘there you go.’ I asked if someone could clean it, they said they didn’t think anyone was around and it was just the pipes playing up. I asked again if someone could clean it as the least you would expect from any hotel room is for a clean toilet upon arrival. She said she would see what she could do. Eventually someone did come who was more apologetic and said again it would have been the pipes (brown water with lumps?). Would not stay here again.
