In the Highland village of Grantown-on-Spey Strathallan Bed and Breakfast lies in the northern region of the Cairngorms National Park. A 20-minute drive from Aviemore this Victorian guest house offers free parking and Wi-Fi and home-cooked Scottish breakfasts. Elegant rooms include a king-size or four-poster bed and all have a flat-screen TV DVD player fridge and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower room with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. This guest house is around 10 minutes' walk from Grantown Golf Club and the town lies close to the Speyside Whiskey Trail. The Strathspey Steam Railway departs from Aviemore and travels to Broomhill 4 miles from Grantown and seen in the BBC TV drama 'Monarch of the Glen'. Strathallan offers a beautifully presented afternoon tea style continental breakfast. This includes freshly baked pastries local fruits cold meats cheese and yogurts. Cereals fresh juices and our signature porridge is available on our buffet. We are unable to cater to gluten free dairy free or vegan diets.

A very comfortable stay and...

Liked: Very clean, spacious room and bathroom , Isla very welcoming and served us a very delicious breakfast.

Best hotel ever

Liked: Perfect location. Warm and friendly. Rolling beautiful staircase and huge rooms with huge comfortable beds. Isla was the perfect host. Amazing breakfast, which I sadly couldn't finish as I was so full. If I go back to Scotland I will go out of my way to stay here again

A good quiet night in...

Liked: Traditional Highland Baronial style. Comfortable bed, warm rooms, good breakfast, friendly owners, nice fire in evening to sit by.
Disliked: Decoration upstairs a bit tired.

Exceptional

Liked: Isla was born to run a B&B! She was delightfully chatty and hilarious!! The home was beautiful and comfortable, and we never would have realized it was fully booked until we went down to breakfast - we had a nice, quiet sleep. Great water pressure, and beautiful bath products - the Sleep Spray by the bed was a lovely, thoughtful touch. And the Nespresso in the room....yum! Breakfast was also delicious!
