Disappointed

Liked: Lovely period property. , bedrooms need attention. Had to move rooms due to issues with bathroom. Lady on the front desk was nice.
Disliked: The room we were moved to was ok. But was directly across from the room service team. Very noisy from 9am in the room across, complaining about work , sounded as if they were stood right outside the door. Had the do not disturb sign on the door, despite this domestic staff banging on the door shouting room service at the top of her voice at 10:15 even though check out was 11 am. Felt very unwelcome and rushed out by domestic staff. Very uncomfortable and dissapointing end to a very rare stay away with my husband.

Liked: The room was comfortable although the hotel is currently being renovated. Breakfast was super and for a last minute booking we were pleased to find this one! Escaping a winter storm in the north with red alert.
Disliked: The general feel was that the hotel is a bit tired and I think after the renovations it'll be brilliant though.

Disliked: So having alot of work done so really just a room, but was warned priorThe breakfast was ok buffet part usual cereal and juice toast etcThe full English cooked was poor 1 rasher of bacon one small hard sausage and not very hot so not worth the priceAlso dinning room was cold but it was blowing a gale outside

Liked: The room was quiet and it had a bath.
Disliked: No Pool as was under maintenance, room could of been cleaner, when I stripped the bed next morning brown stain on actual mattress. Dusty.
