Disliked: 1 star facilities and the restaurant staff is completely unhinged which ruined our experience. Sleeping is a challenge because you can hear the noise from above, below and directly outside your room. The restaurant music was like a disco pounding through the wall until past 10pm.The window in the room left a draft that you could feel from the bed, which makes you not only uncomfortable but you can hear the bus right outside. The room is only cleaned every other day, very minimal at best. Everything is dated and very dusty. We had no shampoo or conditioner but we had brought our own.Check in is at 4:00 and check out is at 10am with only a very small area to wait, since the restaurant won’t allow you to sit in “their” sofa area with a fireplace because that is where they are having their staff meetings and talking loudly in foul language in front of any guests within an earshot. Everyone’s excuse is that they are overworked and understaffed or that some staff was using drugs after work and did not do their side work (trust me I did not want to know any of this), but it was being screamed across the lobby by the restaurant “GM”, we were unfortunate enough to have to spend an hour or so each time we checked in or checked out, which made me feel actually worried for the safety of my children. No one cared for anyone’s time or money being spent there, it was like we were in the way for being there at all. I highly encourage the hotel group to re think the guest experience and stop marketing as a family hotel, it was dusty, aged and completely inappropriate in so many ways, this review is just a small snapshot.

Liked: Wouldn’t be beat nor could the amazing staff and lobby lounge restaurant area. Our room was perfect for what we needed. We loved it all! A shout out to Paul the night auditor on the AM of 1/3. We had to leave bright and early to beat a snowstorm driving home to Wisconsin and our kids were starving. wWithout being asked, he showed up at the car with a bunch of snacks for them and wished us well on our way! It was above and beyond we are so grateful. Please extend our gratitude to him.
