Liked: This historic hotel never disappoints. The rooms are well appointed and they keep everything very up to date and clean. We had a great room with a kitchenette and sitting area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great restaurant attached

Liked: Very nice spacious and clean rooms.

Liked: Hotel lobby was all stone. Striking and historic. Parking was free and space was available. Room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Bathroom was not modern but it was clean and acceptable. Coffee machine and fridge provided.
Disliked: TV reception was intermittent. No safe for valuables was provided in the room. Would have preferred a modern shower but bathroom was adequate. The Italian restaurant in the lobby was not very good, but was busy, so maybe it was just everything I ordered.

Liked: Nice character, quality furnishings.
Disliked: The hotel is not staffed 24x7. Restaurant was not open for breakfast. The hotel is adjacent to a construction site that began making noise at 4AM. It was enough to wake me repeatedly.

Liked: Quite location . Away from the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls. Short drive to the U.S. boarder. Wine glasses and china mugs provided. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: No food available . Not even a vending machine! Some sort of community kitchen in the info package but we were unable to find it.
