A short and relaxing stay...

Liked: Did not get breakfast at the inn. What we liked was that the rooms were very comfortable and the inn was so much better than an institutional hotel space. We had great communications with the proprietor and they were able to accommodate parking for our moving truck (a 15' box truck).
Disliked: Because the house is an older one the stairs to get to the room were a little confusing, That actually just added to the charm.

Liked: beautiful well maintained old mansion with well equipped rooms. Also had a well stocked kitchen to share and lovely living and dining areas to relax in. a free safe parking area behind with locked night time gate

Wonderful stay at Stone Gables...

Liked: We loved everything about our stay: the aesthetic and size of the room, how clean it was, how easy parking was and accessing the room, etc. There is no staff on site but that was not an issue for us. The room was well stocked with towels and the communication about the reservation and access was straightforward. We stayed in the Tipton room, which was only a slight upgrade from a standard room but well worth it has a secondary lounge area which is very cozy. The Inn was also very close to the Ohio City restaurant/shopping district which was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend Hecks and TownHall. It was our second time staying at the Stone Gables Inn and we will definitely be staying again!

Disliked: Would have liked to tea available but not a massive deal.

Liked: Quaint atmosphere yet bathrooms/showers were very up-to-date. Exceptionally clean with inviting areas to co-mingle with other guests. Very serene and quiet during my stay. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys the beauty of times past.
