Fantastic Accommodation

Liked: Made to feel very welcome during our stay. The accommodation is in a great location with easy access to Bowness. 10/10 breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing. It was brilliant.

Liked: The location was fantastic its a 5-10 flat walk just outside of Bowness town centre. Breakfast was superb. Staff were super friendly, advised us where to go for walks and told us some history about the cottage which was very interesting.

Liked: Location was close to the centre of Bowness with ample parking although it is Feb2025., to access attractions and many restaurants.Superb breakfast cooked to order.Onsite car parking.Welcome and ongoing sociability from the hosts was beyond expectations.House was kept at a pleasant temperature.The room (3) was a little small but gave a feeling of being 'homely' and the en-suite was modern, clean and practical.
Disliked: For me, the mattress was uncomfortable which I feel is important, although I accept other occupants may rate it differently.TV could do with being a little bigger and more up-to-date I.e. smart.

Lovely stay at Stockghyll

Liked: Beautiful house and spotlessly clean with friendly service. Last minute booking and only small double available but it was fine and good value. Also loved the waterfall in the back garden!
Disliked: The rain but it is in the lake district
